Phoenix, Ariz. - The six-time and defending world champion Arizona Rattlers (6-1) are looking to become the first eight-man football team to win 300 games in history when they host the Cedar Rapids Titans (1-6) this Saturday.

No other team in any indoor league has won as many games as the Rattlers. The next closest active team are the Sioux Falls Storm, who has 245 wins. Now defunct Arena Football League's Tampa Bay Storm has 265 all-time wins.

The only team standing in the Rattlers way to reach 300 are the Cedar Rapids Titans, who are coming off a 65-48 loss to the Sioux Falls Storm (5-2).

The Rattlers won their 299th game against the Green Bay Blizzard last Saturday by a score of 65-33 with an offense that put up 314 total offensive yards, their highest total of the season. RB Darrell Monroe had 94 yards and two touchdowns, and QB Jeff Ziemba went 10-17 with 101 passing yards and three touchdowns.

On the defensive side, DB Nathan Lindsey led the Rattlers with four tackles, two fumble recoveries, and a pass breakup. He was named the IFL's Defensive Player of the Week.

Despite losing to the Storm, the Titans had a strong offensive performance from QB Jake Medlock who produced 172 yards and four touchdowns on 21 completions. RB Raphael Lawson-Gayle had 72 yards, and two touchdowns on 17 carries on the ground, while WR Connor Hollenbeck had 66 yards, two touchdowns on nine catches.

The Rattlers are currently on a ten-game winning streak at home dating back to last season. The Rattlers have the top ranked offense in the IFL averaging 241.9 yards per game. While leading the league in total offense, Arizona also ranks first in rushing offense averaging 121.7 yards per game on the ground.

Cedar Rapids has the top ranked passing offense in the league, averaging 171.6 yards per game. Medlock leads the league in total passing yards per game (183.1), passing efficiency (111.8), and is tied for first in passing touchdowns (21). WR Connor Hollenbeck leads the league in receptions per game with 6.14 and is third in receiving yards per game with 58.7.

Arizona has already played the Titans once this season; back in week six where the Rattlers won 54-19. Ziemba threw for seven touchdowns in that game and added 172 yards and Amos caught three touchdowns. Arizona's defense held the Titans scoreless in the third and only six points in the second half after allowing 13 in the first.

The game is this Saturday, April 28th at 6:05 p.m. PDT at Talking Stick Resort Arena. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Arizona, streamed on the Fox Sports Go App, and YouTube Live (search keyword "IFL"). The game will also be simulcast on 1580 the Fanatic.
