NORMAL, Ill. - The Normal CornBelters, presented by Illinois Corn Farmers, are excited to announce the 2016 Job Fair. This event will be held at the Corn Crib on Saturday, March 12 from 9 am - 1 pm, two sessions will be available, one for gameday staff and the second for Food & Beverage positions. Those interested in working at the ballpark this summer are encouraged to come out and apply.
"We are excited for the inaugural Job Fair. It provides members of the community the opportunity to earn some extra money during the summer, plus having the experience of working at the ballpark," said Normal CornBelters' President and General Manager Steve Malliet. "These positions are a crucial part of our success for this upcoming summer."
The event will begin promptly at 9 am. All applicants should be prepared for interviews. Current seasonal gameday staff positions include: ushers, ticket takers, fun zone, parking attendants, merchandiser's, and in-game production. Beginning at 11 am, the CornBelters will accept applications for those interested in working in food & beverage, seasonal positions include: Catering/Concessions manager, suite servers, grill/fry cooks, seat servers, cashiers, in-seat vendors (hawkers), picnic attendants & head cook. These positions require full availability on days of CornBelters' home games.
