2015-16 Schedule Released

The National Basketball League of Canada released its 2015-2016 regular season schedule on Wednesday.

Three new team names will appear on the schedule this season:

Orangeville A's (franchise moved from Brampton)

Niagara River Lions (new expansion franchise)

Halifax Hurricanes (new franchise replacing defunct Halifax Rainmen)

The two-time defending champion Windsor Express will kick off the NBL Canada season on December 26th against the Orangeville A's at the WFCU Centre. Game time 7:30pm.

The home opener will feature the 2015 championship banner raising and ring presentation ceremony.

There are plans to host Clash at the Colosseum III at Caesars Windsor for the third year in a row. More information will be available on this event soon.

The Express will play 20 home games and 20 away games in 2015-2016 for a total of 40 regular season games. That is an increase from a total of 32 games played in 2014-2015.

The home schedule is weekend heavy for the Express this season with 16 of their 20 home games played on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

The 2015-2016 NBL Canada regular season will run from December 26th to April 30th.
