2011-12 Rivermen Promotional Schedule Announced

The Peoria Rivermen are proud to announce their promotional calendar for the 2011-12 season is packed with great giveaways and fantastic promotions from start to finish. Free food night, which has drawn more than 19,000 fans over the past two seasons, will be held on March 24, 2012 while the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will be back to perform on March 3, 2012.
The promotional schedule kicks off with the annual magnet schedule giveaway, presented by Heritage Bank, to the first 5,000 fans when the Rivermen welcome the Milwaukee Admirals to open the season at Carver Arena on Oct. 8.
Other giveaways include kids jerseys to the first 1,000 kids 12 and younger on Dec. 17 as well as March 31, 2012, courtesy of PNC Bank. Winter hats will be given away for the first time on Jan. 6, 2012 and on Nov. 5 OSF St. Francis Medical Center will giveaway Rivermen hats to the first 2,500 fans. CEFCU presents a t-shirt giveaway on Jan. 28, 2012.
Coca-Cola/Fun on the Run Family Sundays return for another season featuring $1 tickets in the upper bowl for children 12 and under. Also hot dogs, chips, and coke will be available for $1 each until the end of the first period at all Sunday games.
After each Sunday game (except Oct. 23) this year fans can come down onto the ice and skate (please bring your own skates) and they will be joined by the entire Rivermen team Rivermen team following their games on Sunday, Oct. 9; Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012 and Sunday, March 25.

8 - Post-game skate with the Rivermen (all fans)
28 - T-Shirt Giveaway presented by CEFCU
February
25 - Rivermen Specialty Jersey Auction (post-game)
March
