2008 Talons Cheerleading Tryouts

Tulsa Talons News Release


The Tulsa Talons Dance Team is looking for energetic, talented and attractive dancers to represent the 2008 Tulsa Talons on and off the field. The dance team will entertain fans at all Tulsa Talons home games as well as public appearances and events throughout the community.

Auditions will be held Friday and Saturday, January 11th & 12th at Aspen Fitness, located at 61st and Memorial. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. with tryouts beginning immediately after. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older as of March 1, 2008. Candidates will be judged based on dance potential, performance, appearance and personality. Applicants do not need their own choreography. All materials will be taught at the auditions. Form-fitting, two-piece attire should be worn including sports bra or cropped top and shorts or pants. Performance hair and makeup should also be worn. Participants will be required to sign a waiver prior to taking part in any activities.

Practice will begin in February on Wednesday (8-9:30) and Sunday (4-6) Evenings. Please check the Talons Home Schedule and your personal schedules prior to tryouts. To be considered, an application must be submitted along with a non-refundable registration fee. There is a $30 registration fee.
