Mahoning Valley Thunder to Hold Open Tryout Saturday, January 5th

BOARDMAN, Ohio -The Mahoning Valley Thunder will hold an open tryout Saturday, January 5th at The Salem Community Center (1098 North Ellsworth Ave. Salem, OH 44460). The tryout is for all Line Backers, Fullbacks, Offensive and Defensive Lineman, Wide Receivers, Defensive Backs and Quarterbacks. Kicker tryouts will be held at a later date. Registration begins at 8:00 am with the tryout starting promptly at 9:00am. The tryout will be under the direction of Thunder Head Coach Mike Hold.
A non-refundable registration fee of $55.00 is due the day of the tryout, walk-ups are welcome. The Thunder Organization will only accept cash payments for the tryout.
Participants need to bring athletic shoes suitable for field turf (NO CLEATED SHOES) and wear proper athletic attire for indoors. Participants will be tested in the 40 yard dash, 20 yard short shuttle and put through a series of non-contact, one on one position drills.
