JUPITER, FL - Roger Dean Stadium (RDS) announces a 34-game 2007 Spring Training schedule for the Florida Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals. The 2006 World Series Champion Cardinals will play 16 home games, while the Marlins have scheduled 18 home games. Both schedules include a college exhibition.
The Cardinals schedule is highlighted with two rematch games of the 2006 NLCS against the New York Mets on March 2nd and 18th, and the annual back-to-back games versus the Atlanta Braves on March 11th and 12th. All Cardinals games start at 1:05 p.m.
The Marlins play the Boston Red Sox on March 6th and eight games against 2006 playoff teams. Florida plays the only two night games at RDS against the Los Angeles Dodgers (7:05) on March 7th and the New York Mets (7:05) on March 16th. The Houston Astros and Minnesota Twins will also play the Marlins at home this spring.
Season tickets and Group tickets are currently on sale for both clubs. The 5+ Plan and Mini-Plans will be available the week of December 4th. Individual game tickets will go on-sale at the Stadium Box Office and local Ticketmaster locations on Saturday, January 20, 2007. Ticket prices for individual game tickets are $24 for Field Box, $22 for Loge Box, and $10 for Bleachers. Tickets to premium games are $1 more.
