
2007 Fisher Cats Promotional Schedule Released

Manchester, NH - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, announced their promotional schedule today for the 2007 Season with a fun-filled lineup of excitement on and off the field. The 2007 Season brings twenty Atlas Fireworks Nights to the calendar and an endless list of promotional giveaways for Fisher Cats fans of all ages! The Fisher Cats welcome fans back to MerchantsAuto.com Stadium on Opening Day, Thursday, April 5, 2007 as they take on the New Britain Rock Cats.
Fans entering the ballpark on specific game days will receive this year's NEW giveaways including; replica jerseys, youth baseball gloves, batting gloves, backpacks, logo/player baseballs and pint glasses. Other giveaways include: the ever-popular bobbleheads, baseball hats, beach towels, T-shirts, fleece blankets, baseball bats and much, much more (See attached 2007 Promo Schedule for more information).
Among the nightly giveaways throughout the 2007 season, the Fisher Cats are dedicating specific theme nights to include: Kids Eat Free Mondays, Teacher Appreciation Nights, Student Athlete Nights, Most Improved Student Nights, Educational Days, NHCTCS Student Reading Nights and NEW this year Baseball Bingo as fans play their luck to win great prizes. Other theme nights include Music Awards Night, Irish Day on May 20, Franco-American Night on May 23, First Responders Night on May 31, Fungo's Birthday on June 16, "Splash Day" on July 29, a Punt, Pass, & Kick Competition on August 7, and NFL Day on September 2. The Fisher Cats will also welcome their 1,000,000th fan to MerchantsAuto.com Stadium during the 2007 season.
Also NEW this year to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats schedule is the inaugural High School Baseball Series. "The High School Baseball Series is open to all high schools statewide and it's a great way for students to raise money for their school while given the opportunity to play baseball at New Hampshire's finest outdoor facility," said Rick Brenner, Fisher Cats President/GM. The 2007 high school games at MerchantsAuto.com Stadium will take place after Fisher Cats home games on Saturdays or Sundays, or on weekdays when the Fisher Cats are on the road in April and May. Interested high schools should call Mike Murphy in the Fisher Cats Group Sales Office for more information and game schedule availability. Plan early, the High School Baseball Series schedule is filling up fast!
The Fisher Cats also announced changes to their home schedule, switching from a 6:35pm game start to a 7:05pm first pitch for weekday games beginning with the June 12 game against the Akron Aeros. The Saturday games will also be at 7:05 pm and include fireworks after June 12. All home games prior to June 12 will remain at either the 6:35pm or 1:05pm start time. (See attached game schedule).
