OMAHA - Tickets are now on sale for a barbecue dinner to welcome the 2006 Omaha Royals to town.
The event will take place on Wednesday, April 5th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Stadium View Club at Rosenblatt Stadium. Those attending will be able to meet the players on Omaha's Opening Day roster, who will be signing autographs. Live music will be provided by Lenny's Dixieland Band.
Tickets for the dinner are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12-and-under. Tickets must be purchased by March 27 to reserve seats for the evening.
Proceeds from the dinner benefit the Omaha Royals Youth Baseball Fund.

The Royals will also hold an early afternoon workout at Rosenblatt Stadium free and open to the public on April 5th as well, with more details to be announced soon.
Omaha opens its 2006 Pacific Coast League season at Rosenblatt on April 6th at 7:05 p.m., when the Royals host the defending PCL Champion Nashville Sounds.
