Published on December 1, 2004 under Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release

The Central Hockey League has today unveiled the jersey design for the 2005 CHL All-Star Game scheduled for Wednesday, January 12th, at the Laredo Entertainment Center. Designed by OT Sports in conjunction with the CHL and the host Laredo Bucks, the jerseys will feature the Bucks' traditional blue, gold and white color scheme. Fans can pre-order their own All-Star jersey by contacting Michelle Sanchez of the Laredo Bucks via telephone (956-523-6577) or email (msanchez@laredobucks.com).

Additional 2005 CHL All-Star Game merchandise is available by visiting CHLShop.com, with a variety of hats, pucks, t-shirts and polo shirts currently on sale. A limited number of special edition 2005 CHL Star commemorative sticks will also be added in the near future.

The 2005 CHL All-Star Game will conclude three days of activities and meetings in the Laredo area, beginning with the CHL All-Star Banquet on Monday, January 10th. Tuesday's activities will be highlighted by the CHL All-Star Skills Competition, featuring the All-Stars in six different events.

The 2005 CHL All-Star Game will pit representatives from the Southern Conference against the Northern Conference, with All-Star Coaches determined by highest winning percentage following the completion of all games on Sunday, December 19th. The startling line-ups for each conference will be determined through balloting of all CHL coaches and broadcasters as well as selected media representatives in each market, and will be announced on Wednesday, December 22nd. The remainder of the rosters will be selected by the All-Star coaches in conjunction with the CHL's hockey operations department, and announced on Wednesday, December 29th. Further announcements and details regarding plans for the 2005 CHL All-Star Game and surrounding events will be announced in the coming weeks.
