Your Knoxville Ice Bears are the 2004-05 SPHL Sherwood Commissioners Cup Champions. The Commissioners Cup is given to the team that's wins the regular season point's race. The Ice Bears with a win in Asheville now has 68 points on the season, that along with a loss by Fayetteville in Columbus last night gives the Ice Bears the Commissioners Cup.
League Commissioner Tom Coolen will present the Sherwood Commissioners Cup to the Ice Bears during pre-game ceremonies tonight. The Ice Bears host the Macon Trax tonight at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum, Doors open at 6:30, Puck Drops at 7:30. A few Great tickets are still available on the Ice Bears web site www.knoxvilleicebears.com, calling 865-656-4444, Coliseum Box Office, or any Ticketsunlimited outlet.
Meet and Greet with the Players on the Ice immediately following the game. Bring items you would like to have signed by the team to tonight's game. Tables will be set up and the line will move single file, so you will get to meet each and every player.
