
2002 NBDL Champion Greenville Groove Holding Open Tryouts

Greenville, SC â The 2002 National Basketball Development League (NBDL) Champion Greenville Groove will be holding open tryouts on Saturday, October 19th and Sunday, October 20 starting at 10:00 am each day. All participants will have a legitimate opportunity to sign a NBDL Player Contract for the 2002-2003 season.
Groove tryouts are limited to the first 100 athletes to complete all the registration materials. Twenty selected players will be asked to return for Day Two of tryouts. Also participating in tryouts on October 20 will be athletes invited by the Groove coaching staff and management.
Each athlete will be given the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of coaches, scouts, and general managers.
Tryouts are open to the general public and athletes are encouraged to bring their family and friends to cheer them on. Players are responsible for their own hotel accommodations, transportation and food outside of tryouts.
Athletes should pre-register in order to ensure an opportunity to showcase their talent. A $50 registration fee, in the form of a cashier's check or a money order is also required. Athletes must be 20 years old prior to the start of their first NBDL season.
