Potomac Nationals News Release

The Potomac Cannons will hold their first Scout Night of the 2003 season on Saturday, May 3rd courtesy of Commuter Connections. Commuter Connections Scout Night will also feature the second fireworks show of the season after the Cannons take on the Frederick Keys at 7:05 PM. Commuter Connections Scout Night will be highlighted with a full night of fun and activities for all scouts and their families. Before the game, all uniformed scouts will have the opportunity to parade around the Pfitz with their troop. In between innings, each participating scout troop will have their name recognized on our scoreboard monitor. After the game is when the real fun starts! All scouts and their families who have a valid game ticket will get to camp out in the outfield of the Pfitz! After the game, we will invite all those who want to camp out to come down to the field. Once everything is organized, scouts and their families will be able to pitch tents in the outfield grass. After all of the tents are pitched and everybody is situated, we will show Country Bears on the outfield monitor. In the morning, we will provide you with a wake-up call in order for the Cannons to get ready for their Sunday afternoon game.

Scouts and their families can purchase discounted tickets in advance from the Ticket Office. To order tickets call 703-590-2311 ext. 225. Discounted tickets can only be purchased in advance, so order today to reserve your spot for the 1st Scout Night of the year and the biggest and best fireworks extravaganza in the area.
