1st Place Blizzard Look to Keep Streak Alive

Green Bay Blizzard News Release


After a big overtime road win, Green Bay is in 1st place in the Midwest Division. Three straight wins have propelled the Blizzard, including two straight on the road. Green Bay was able to exact revenge against the Iowa Barnstormers, who defeated the Blizzard in an earlier season matchup to split the season series and give the Blizzard a chance for home field advantage in the post season.

Green Bay returns home this Friday, June 19th at 7:30 to face the Tulsa Talons ranked #2 in the af2 coaches poll. The Talons have only lost one game this season to the Iowa Barnstormers back in week two and are on a nine game winning streak. The Blizzard will also try to keep their streak alive as the world famous Klement's Racing Sausages will be featured and it's a "Buck Night" with $1 beers, sodas, and hotdogs at Friday's game.
