
15 Former Stampede Players to Particpate in NHL Training Camp

Sioux Falls, SD-The Stampede will be well represented with the National Hockey League kicks off training camp across 30 cities this weekend. 15 former players will compete in camp for a chance to be one of 23 players on their respective team's roster to start the regular season.
The Stampede begin their 12th season in the USHL this year and have already had eight players skate in an NHL game. Here is a look at the players participating in camp this year and when they played in Sioux Falls:
Anaheim: Dan Sexton (2006-07)
Buffalo: Corey Tropp (2005-07) & Thomas Vanek (1999-2002)
Carolina: Chad LaRose (1999-2001)
Colorado: Matt Ford (2003-04)
Los Angeles: Pat Mullen (2004-05)
Minnesota: Nate Prosser (2003-06)
Nashville: Ryan Thang (2004-06)
Philadelphia: Ben Holmstrom (2003-06)
& Andreas Nodl (2004-06)
Pittsburgh: Alex Goligoski (2003-04) & Joe Vitale (2004-05)
St. Louis: T.J. Oshie (2004-05)
Toronto: Alex Foster (2001-03)
Washington: Joe Finley (2004-05)

The Herd kick off the pre-season tonight in Brookings, SD against arch rival Sioux City at 7:05 PM. The Stampede will be in Luverne Saturday night to face Des Moines.
