Sporting KC Signs Ryan Schewe to New Contract

October 28, 2025 - Sporting Kansas City announced today that the club has signed goalkeeper Ryan Schewe to a new MLS contract through 2026 with club options for 2027 and 2028. Schewe, who joined Sporting ahead of the 2024 season as the 22nd overall pick in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft, was part of the matchday squad for every game in 2025. Sporting KC Announces Offseason Roster Moves

October 23, 2025 - Sporting Kansas City announced on Thursday several roster moves ahead of the 2026 season. Sporting has exercised 2026 contract options for the following four players: Stephen Afrifa, Zorhan Bassong, Jansen Miller and John Pulskamp. Sporting has declined 2026 contract options for Tim Leibold, Nemanja Radoja, Ryan Schewe, Khiry Shelton and Mason Toye, while loan spells for Alan Montes and Santi Munoz have ended. Monarchs Announce 2026 Schedule

October 21, 2025 - KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Monarchs baseball returns to Legends Field on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. That's the date of the Monarch's 2026 home opener, confirmed October 21st with the release of the club's schedule for the upcoming season. The four-time league champions will open the season on the road with the Kane County Cougars at Northwestern Medicine Field in Illinois on May 15th before returning to Legends Field for their official home opener on the 19th.
