August 27, 2025 - (Hershey, PA) - The Washington Capitals, the National Hockey League (NHL) affiliate of the Hershey Bears, announced today that the club has hired Bill Downey as Hershey's video coach. August 19, 2025 - (Hershey, PA) - The Hershey Bears have signed forward Patrick Guzzo and defenseman John Fusco to American Hockey League contracts for the 2025-26 season. Purner served as video coach for Hershey for three seasons after he joined the staff in 2022. The Glens Falls, New York native helped Hershey to back-to-back Calder Cup titles in 2023 and 2024.
