Edge Pull Away from Haymakers

April 5, 2013 - BLOOMINGTON - The Bloomington Edge, led by five touchdown passes from David Knighton, claimed a 62-46 victory in Champions Professional Indoor Football League play over the Lincoln Haymakers on Friday night at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. The Edge (2-2) took their first lead at 6-3 on an Andre Raymond six-yard touchdown run with 2:39 remaining in the first quarter, then traded scores with two Bloomington touchdown catches in the second quarter from Jasonus Tillery and one from LaVaughn Macon to take a 28-19 halftime lead. March 30, 2013 - WICHITA - The Bloomington Edge did not score in the second half until the final minute and lost 52-22 to the host Wichita Wild in Champions Professional Indoor Football League play on Saturday night at Hartman Arena. The Wild (4-0) led 20-6 after one quarter and never trailed in the contest. March 24, 2013 - MOLINE - The Bloomington Blaze, fueled by Mid-Illini Credit Union, lost a defensive battle in the season finale by a 2-1 score to the Quad City Mallards on Sunday at iWireless Center. After a scoreless first period, Jon Booras put the Blaze on the board with a wrister from the slot as a power play ended on assists from Sean O'Connor and goalie Pier-Olivier Pelletier.
