April 13, 2019 - BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Central Illinois Flying Aces fell, 3 to 0, to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders in the final game of the season. Cedar Rapids scored first late in the first period. The RoughRiders broke out on a three-on-two play and Ethan Wolthers finished off the passing play with a quick goal on the backdoor. April 12, 2019 - GENEVA, Ill. - The Central Illinois Flying Aces fell, 6 to 5, to the Chicago Steel in a back and forth game. The teams exchanged one-goal leads throughout the first two periods, but the Steel came out fast during the third to go up by three. April 6, 2019 - LINCOLN, Neb. - The Central Illinois Flying Aces defeated the Lincoln Stars, 6 to 3, sweeping the season series. Midway through the first period, Stephen Halliday (Toronto, Ont.) broke out with the puck. Joe Dunlap (Windham, NH) joined the rush and beat his man to create a two-on-one. Halliday feathered the puck to Dunlap, but Dunlap was hooked before he could get the shot off resulting in a power play opportunity. April 5, 2019 - LINCOLN, Neb. - The Central Illinois Flying Aces beat the Lincoln Stars, 5 to 1, in the first game of a two-game weekend against the Stars. Mitchell Gibson (Phoenixville, Penn.) was steady throughout the first period, stopping thirteen of fourteen shots faced including several off the rush.
