PrairieThunder Season Comes To An End With 6-3 Loss At Fort Wayne

April 6, 2011 - The Bloomington PrairieThunder was swept three games to none in the CHL's Turner Conference Quarterfinals, losing 6-3 to the Fort Wayne Komets on Wednesday night in Indiana. The Komets Frankie DeAngelis scored the game winner at 6:34 of the second period. And the CHL's leading playoff scorer, Mathieu Curadeau, did more damage scoring the game's first goal and adding an assist for Fort Wayne. April 5, 2011 - Having dropped the first two games of the best-of-five playoff series against the Fort Wayne Komets, the Bloomington PrairieThunder have headed on the road this morning to Fort Wayne, Indiana where they will play game #3 of the series on Wednesday night at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. The PrairieThunder will be without the services of forward Garrett Klotz who was recalled to the Adirondack (Glens Falls, New York) Phantoms of the American Hockey League.
