Ron Baker finished with 16 points, eight assists, and three steals, while Maurice Ndour had nine each of points and rebounds. Marshall Plumlee notched a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, hitting 6-of-8 from the field. Von Wafer came off the bench to lead all scorers with 18 points, John Jenkins also providing a boost from the pine with 13 points and six rebounds. Westchester opened the game on a 10-2 run with Marshall Plumlee and Damien Inglis scoring on four consecutive possessions. Erie was not rattled by the Knicks' hot start, and after taking advantage of a few Westchester turnovers, tied the game with 2:32 to play. The Knicks went down for only 41 seconds until John Jenkins nailed a three-point shot, which allowed Westchester to exit the opening quarter with the lead. Erie stayed right on the Knicks' trail as the second quarter began, but Westchester gradually started to wear down its opponent through precise ball movement. Westchester never trailed in the second quarter, extending its lead as high as 11 points.

Courtney Fells heated up in the third quarter as the Knicks did everything in its power to protect the lead. Erie clawed its way to a tie, but a Jaylen Bond layup ensured that Westchester got the lead back. As the game's final quarter got underway, it was clear that victory loomed closer with every dribble. Eight of Westchester's ten players managed to score in the final quarter of a commanding 101-91 victory.
