
Westchester Knicks Activate Courtney Fells, Waive Robert Vaden

WHITE PLAINS, NY - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA Development League affiliate of the New York Knickerbockers, announced today the team has activated guard Courtney Fells. He is expected to be in uniform for tonight's game against the Raptors 905.
A veteran of eight seasons in professional basketball, Fells (6-5, 205) has played with 11 different teams internationally across Cyprus, Israel, the Dominican Republic, the Philippines, Venezuela, Turkey, Argentina, and Italy. He spent one season with the NBA D-League's Austin Toros (Spurs) in 2013-14 and averaged 7.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 1.7 assists over 27.8 minutes in 10 games for the Texas Legends this season before coming to Westchester in a three- team trade.
Additionally, the team has waived guard Robert Vaden.
In 12 games for Westchester, Vaden (6-5, 215) averaged 6.0 points and 1.7 rebounds over 18.1 minutes per game.
The Westchester Knicks face the Raptors 905, the Toronto Raptors' affiliate, tonight at 7:30 p.m. in Mississauga. The teams will face each other again on Friday, Dec. 23 at the historic Westchester County Center for a 7:00 p.m. rematch. Both games will be broadcast live on MSG Networks and Facebook Live.
