
Tickets on sale for game versus Australia

Columbus, GA - Tickets are now available for the international arena football game between the arenafootball2 Columbus Wardogs and "Team Down Under" from Australia. The game will kick-off at 3:00pm ET on Sunday, March 28 at the Columbus Civic Center and all reserved seats are only $10.
A press conference was held Tuesday at Bama Lanes Bowling Center in Phenix City, AL. Bama Lanes is the presenting sponsor of the game. Speakers included Wardogs president/general manager Mike Sammond, Wardogs head coach John Fourcade, Bama Lanes owner/general manager David Walters and Jerry Kurz, the vice president of international development for the Arena Football League.
Developments announced Tuesday included the following:
- The Australian delegation will arrive in town on Wednesday, March 24. A press conference will be held at Bama Lanes on Thursday, March 25 at 11:30am ET to introduce the Australian delegation which will include coaches, players, football officials and Australian media. Mayors from both Columbus and Phenix City are scheduled to attend to exchange gifts with the Australian delegation.
- The Australian team will hold a bowling party at Bama Lanes later that day at 4:30pm ET for all fans to attend and meet the players.
- Tickets for the game are now available for purchase at the Columbus Civic Center box office, by calling ticketmaster at (706) 494-8330 or by logging on to ticketmaster.com. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to the United Way.
- Fans can log on to columbuswardogs.com and send an e-mail directly to Australian head coach Mike Sea to ask questions about his team and football in Australia.
