
Pistons Assign Johnson, Ellenson and Gbinige to Grand Rapids

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - The Detroit Pistons announced today that the team has assigned forwards Stanley Johnson and Henry Ellenson and guard Michael Gbinije to the team's NBA Development League (D-League) affiliate, the Grand Rapids Drive.
Johnson has appeared in 21 games this season averaging 3.3 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 12.8 minutes per game. The eighth overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, Johnson has averaged 7.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 94 career NBA games.
Ellenson has appeared in six games this season averaging 0.8 points and 1.0 rebounds in 3.0 minutes per game. He was selected with the 18th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.
Gbinije has appeared in six games this season averaging 0.7 points and 0.3 rebounds in 3.5 minutes per game. He was selected with the 49th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.
