Miami Heat Sign Marcus Georges-Hunt to 10-Day Contract

PORTLAND, Maine- The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, announce that Marcus Georges-Hunt has signed a 10-day contract with the Miami Heat. Georges-Hunt becomes the 19th NBA D-League player to earn a GATORADE Call-Up to the NBA this season, and Georges-Hunt becomes the 12th different Red Claws player all-time to earn a Call-Up.
Georges-Hunt, a rookie guard, has played in all 32 games for the Red Claws, helping lead Maine to a 20-12 record. Georges-Hunt has recorded Maine's only triple-double of the season on Nov. 18 (22 points, 10 rebounds, 13 assists). He is averaging 16.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game with Maine.
