Cincinnati Jungle Kats News Release

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Jungle Kats resume their road ways this Friday night as they travel to take on the Green Bay Blizzard at 8:30pm ET from the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The Kats will attempt to pick up their first road victory in franchise history without the services of their lead receiver, Derin Graham, who is nursing an injury he sustained in last week's loss to Fort Wayne. The Kats will look for the same intensity they brought to the Fort Wayne game on May 5th in order to pick up their second victory of 2007.

The Green Bay Blizzard, though, have compiled some impressive number on defense this season, ranking 1st in 4 categories on that side of the ball. Like the Kats, however, their offense has struggled; the Blizzard rank 26th in af2 with 1357 total points scored this season.

Just as turnovers have been a major struggle for the Jungle Kats this season, excessive penalties are becoming another Achilles heel. Cincinnati has committed 62 infractions this season, accounting for 354 yards. Last week, the Kats set a season high for penalties and penalty yards, committing 16 penalties for 86 yards. Last week, the Kats also saw the Tennessee Valley Vipers collect more penalties than any other opponent this season, as they were flagged 11 times for 73 yards.

Fans can hear all the action of the game on 1530 HOMER - The Sports Animal, beginning at 8:15pm. Fans can also WATCH the game LIVE via the B2 Networks at www.JungleKatsFootball.com.
