BOARDMAN, Ohio. - The Mahoning Valley Thunder, along with the U.S. Army, Pepsi and 21WFMJ are pleased to announce "Military Appreciation Night" on May 25 as the Thunder host the Manchester Wolves on Cortland Banks Field at the Chevrolet Centre. Kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m.
To honor both active and retired military personnel and anyone employed as a civilian worker, the Thunder is offering a $3.00 discount on any ticket purchase and on any amount of tickets. To receive the discount, a valid military I.D. must be presented at the Chevrolet Centre Box Office or at the Thunder Office in Boardman.
The special offer is for May 25, valid at the Chevrolet Centre Box Office, at the Thunder offices only and is not valid with any other offer.
The Mahoning Valley Thunder 2007 season is underway on Cortland Banks Field at the Chevrolet Centre. In the historic inaugural game, a sellout crowd of 5,954 witnessed the first win in team history.
