Sioux Falls Skyforce News Release
Sioux Falls, SD "" The Sioux Falls Skyforce (14-11, 95.0, 3.8) visits the Yakama Sun Kings (15-7, 90.0, 4.1) tonight at 9:05 pm CST at the Yakima Valley SunDome.
'Force Facts:
Game #26 / Road Game #13 / CBA Game #93
Good Memories The last time the "ËForce played a game at the Yakima Valley SunDome they left town with all seven quarter-points as they won 122-102 (7, 0) in one of their best games of the season. A big reason for the win back on November 29th was Stephen Graham who finished with 24 points and 11 rebounds. The "ËForce will be without his services tonight as he has been invited to a tryout with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Antwain Barbour of the Yakama Sun Kings has also been invited to the tryout.
Triple-Double It did not take Corey Williams long to make a good impression on the Sioux Falls Skyforce fans. He has quickly become a fan favorite thanks to a triple-double in only his fourth game of the season. He finished with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists last Friday night to help the Skyforce dominate their archrival, the Dakota Wizards, 113-92 (7, 0). It was only the second triple-double in the CBA this season (Marlon Parmer had the first one with 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists back on Dec. 18th in a 120-98 (6, 1) victory over the Michigan Mayhem) and the first for the Skyforce since David Bailey posted a triple-double in the CBA Finals last season against the Rockford Lightning. Bailey had a career night as he finished with 35 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists against the Lightning in game two of the 2005 CBA Finals.
Road Woes Like most teams in the CBA this season the "ËForce has struggle on the road as they are 3-9 away from the Sioux Falls Arena. Last season the "ËForce finished the regular season with a 12-12 (.500) record on the road. Only one team finished above .500 on the road last season as the Dakota Wizards were 14-10. This season two teams are above .500 on the road as Yakama is 7-5 (.583) and Rockford is 6-5 (.545). It makes sense that the same two teams are in first place in their respective conferences.
