After playing two seasons at Ohio State University, Sibert transferred to Dayton University, where he led the program during two memorable seasons.

Sibert guided the team to consecutive NCAA tournament berths during his two-year career as a Flyer, including an Elite Eight run in 2014 and a Sweet Sixteen berth in 2015.

The team's leading scorer as a junior and senior, Sibert remains just one of two transfers to score over 1,000 points in their Dayton career.
