Dallas Sidekicks Forward Cameron Brown Named to MASL Team of the Week

Allen, TX - The Major Arena Soccer League announced today its Team of the Week for week seven of the 2015/16 season. Sidekicks forward Cameron Brown was named to the Team of the Week for the first time this season after earning six points in two games on the road in Tacoma.
The Sidekicks split their two matches versus the Stars over the weekend, but an individual effort from Brown impressed. Two second half goals on Friday almost won it for the Sidekicks, and his two goals (including the game winner) and two assists on Sunday helped Dallas earn their first victory of the season.
Brown tops the Sidekicks with 10 points (five goals, five assists) in 5 games this season.
Goalkeeper Juan Gamboa was given an honorable mention nod for his stellar play over the weekend, where on Sunday he saved 17 out of 19 shots against to lead the Sidekicks to their 6-2 win.
MASL Team of the Week (continued):
GK - Nick Vorberg, Milwaukee Wave: Recorded 14 saves on 16 shots in 5-2 win over the St. Louis Ambush after playing 68 minutes just two days earlier in the 7-6 shootout win over the Missouri Comets on the road where he stopped all three shootout attempts.
D - Pat Healey, Baltimore Blast: Scored 2 goals in the 8-5 victory over the San Diego Sockers helping the Blast to improve to 5-0 on the season.
D - Adam West, Tacoma Stars: Scored 2 goals helping the Stars to a 4-3 victory over the Dallas Sidekicks.
M - Victor Parreiras, Brownsville Barracudas: Recorded 4 goals after the third quarter including tying goal with 13 seconds left and the winning goal 1:20 into the overtime period.
M - Miguel Vaca, Chicago Mustangs: Scored 4 goals on 9 shots in 14-4 win over the Cedar Rapids Rampage.
F - Cameron Brown, Dallas Sidekicks: Recorded 4 goals and added 2 assists in two games versus the Tacoma Stars this past weekend.
