
Grand Rapids Drive Partner with Perrigo for the Season of Giving

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - The Grand Rapids Drive, the NBA D-League affiliate of the Detroit Pistons announced today its corporate partner, Perrigo, will be partnering with D.A. Blodgett - St. John's (DABSJ) in conjunction with the Drive's Community Relations Department for two fundraising events.

The first charitable event held at The Score Restaurant & Sports Bar on Dec. 8 from 5:00 -10:00 PM will provide DABSJ with 10% of all proceeds from the night. Drive players, along with the dance team and team's mascot Buckets, will be giving Christmas gifts to the children of DABSJ during the event. Autographs and pictures will be available throughout the night.
The D.A. Blodgett - St. John's mission is to help children and empower families by providing safety, advocacy and support. "D.A. Blodgett - St. John's (DABSJ) is grateful for the support from the Drive, Perrigo and our community. Last year we were able to help more than 4,500 vulnerable children and families. This fundraiser helps us have the ability to provide families and children with a safe place to heal, counseling and other necessary services" said Jim Paparella - President/CEO at DABSJ.
The second charitable event held at the DeltaPlex Arena on Dec. 19 starting at 7:00 PM will feature a Jersey Takeover Night presented by Perrigo. During Jersey Takeover Night, the Drive will show support to Perrigo and D.A. Blodgett - St. John's by wearing customized royal blue jerseys with both Perrigo and DABSJ's logos on the jerseys. All game-worn jerseys will be open for bids during the game and will be signed and auctioned off post-game. The winner of each game-worn jersey will have a photo opportunity with the player. All proceeds from the Jersey Auction will benefit DABSJ.

Other special programming throughout the night includes Drive Family 4-Pack for $44. Package includes four (4) tickets, four (4) sodas and four (4) hot dogs.
