SCENARIOS ENTERING SATURDAY'S SECOND LEG

The Red Bulls enter Saturday's decisive second leg of the Eastern Conference Championship trailing 2-1 on aggregate. The Red Bulls scored two goals at Gillette Stadium earlier this season in June in a 2-0 win over the New England Revolution as Eric Alexander and Peguy Luyindula each scored for New York.

Below are different scenarios that will see New York through to MLS Cup.

Red Bulls advance with...

Any win by two or more goals:

2-0 - advance 3-2 on aggregate

3-0 - advance 4-2 on aggregate

Any two-goal win scoring at least three goals:

3-1 - advance 4-3 on aggregate

4-2 - advance 5-4 on aggregate

Any one-goal win scoring three or more goals:

3-2 - tie aggregate 4-4, advance on away goals, 3-2

4-3 - tie aggregate 5-5, advance on away goals, 4-2

Red Bulls eliminated with...

Any loss, draw or 1-0 win (tie 2-2 on aggregate, lose 2-1 on away goals tiebreaker)

Red Bulls force overtime with...

A 2-1 win, which would pull them level on aggregate, 3-3, and on away goals, 2-2. In the event of a 2-1 finish in New England, the score would be reset and the away goals rule would be wiped out. The two teams would play a 30-minute (Two, 15-minute sessions), winner-take-all overtime. If the overtime session also ends in a tie, the Eastern Conference Championship, and the right to play for the MLS Cup, would be decided by penalty kicks.

RED BULLS POSTSEASON STATISTICS SO FAR

Team 6 9 4

Bradley Wright-Phillips 4 1 4

Peguy Luyindula 2 2 4

Thierry Henry 0 4 4

Bradley Wright-Phillips

Despite being unavailable for Saturday's second leg of the Eastern Conference Championship (yellow card accumulation), Bradley Wright-Phillips has had a successful postseason performance so far. Through four games, the 2014 MLS Golden Boot winner has scored four goals and has scored in three of New York's four playoff matches.

He scored twice against Sporting Kansas City in New York's 2-1 knockout round win and scored again in New York's 2-0 win over D.C. United in the first leg of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The Englishman added his fourth against New England on Sunday.

Wright-Phillips leads all playoff scorers with four goals. The forward is also two goals shy of Roy Lassiter's 33 combined regular-season and playoff goals in set in 1996 with 31 goals.

Thierry Henry

Thierry Henry set a career high for assists in the regular-season in 2014 and has continued to set up his teammates in the postseason. Through four games, Henry has assisted on four of New York's six total goals and has recorded at least one assist in three of the first four playoff game so far.

Henry set up Peguy Luyindula's crucial away goal on November 8 in D.C. that pushed New York through to the Conference Championship.

Peguy Luyindula

Supersub Peguy Luyindula came on as a second-half substitute against Sporting Kansas City on October 30 and helped set up both goals in New York's 2-1 come-from-behind win in the knockout round. Luyindula's performance against Sporting KC earned him a start against D.C. on November 2 and the Frenchman scored New York's second goal in a 2-0 win in leg one of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Luyindula earned the start again for the return leg in D.C. and scored the lone goal for New York in a 2-1 loss that pushed the Red Bulls through to the Eastern Conference Championship 3-2 on aggregate.

Luis Robles

Goalkeeper Luis Robles has started all four of New York's playoff matches while posting a 2-2-0 record with a 1.25 goals against average. Robles has posted one shutout through four games and is fourth among all playoff goalies in saves with nine.

THIERRY HENRY, LUIS ROBLES UP FOR GOAL OF THE YEAR; SAVE OF THE YEAR

New York Red Bulls forward Thierry Henry and goalkeeper Luis Robles are both finalists for the 2014 MLS Goal of the Year and Save of the Year, respectively. Voting for both finalists begins today at 12:00 PM ET and closes on Wednesday, November 26 at 11:59 PM ET.

Henry

Early in the second half on September 6, Henry put New York ahead 2-0 with a right-footed shot from outside the 18-yard-box. Midfielder Lloyd Sam cut inside towards the top of the area and played a pass to Henry in the 51st minute and the captain did the rest.

After taking one touch inside, Henry ripped a right-footed shot across the face of goal and buried his eighth goal of the year.

Robles

With his team leading Seattle Sounders FC 4-1 on September 20, Luis Robles came up with a huge double-save to keep his team comfortably ahead in the 69th minute. Sounders midfielder Marco Pappa took a left-footed shot from outside the 18-yard-box that deflected off Red Bulls' defender Jamison Olave and changed directions, forcing Robles to go back across his body to make the initial save.

Robles' save deflected right into the path of Sounders' forward Clint Dempsey who headed the rebound towards goal, but Robles extended fully to his right to make the second save.

25,000 STRONG AT SOLD OUT RED BULL ARENA FOR FINAL MATCH OF 2014

The New York Red Bulls hosted three postseason matches in the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs and sold out leg one of the Eastern Conference Championship on Sunday, the final match played at Red Bull Arena this season. New York takes on New England in Foxborough, Mass. on Saturday, November 29 at Gillette Stadium in leg two of the Eastern Conference Championship.
