The Calgary Stampeders have signed free-agent international defensive lineman Brandon Jordan.
The six-foot-five, 255-lb. University of Illinois alum played 17 games for the BC Lions over the past three seasons, accumulating 23 tackles, four special-teams tackles and six sacks. He played 12 games for BC during the 2013 season and made nine starts as he set career highs with 15 tackles and two sacks.
Jordan was an offensive lineman at Illinois but made the conversion to defence when he played for the Wichita Wild and the Chicago Slaughter in the Indoor Football prior to joining the Lions in 2012.
