Bombers Add Two to Practice Roster

WINNIPEG, MB. September 30, 2014 - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the additions of international receivers Rashad Lawrence and Justin Wilson to the club's practice roster.

Lawrence (#18) (6-2, 190, Northwestern, June 10, 1992, in Orlando, FL ) played his collegiate football at Northwestern, where he spent four full seasons from 2010 to 2013. He played 49 games, starting 30 at receiver. He recorded a total of 96 receptions for 1,165 yards and two TDs. Lawrence signed with Washington (NFL) as an undrafted free agent on May, 14, 2014 but was released following training camp.

Wilson (#86) (5-11, 180, Delaware State, January 4, 1990 in Windsor, CT) played for the Hornets for five years, starting as a redshirt freshman in 2009 and wrapping up his senior season in 2012 as the school's second all-time receiver with 189 receptions for 2,416 yards and 23 touchdowns. As a senior, he caught 67 passes for a career-high 816 yards and 6 TDs. Wilson was All-MEAC Conference in 2010 as a sophomore. He was undrafted but then signed with Green Bay in August 2013.
