Neither side was able to push across a run until Sugar Land took a 1-0 lead in the eighth inning on a RBI single from Delwyn Young off Ducks starter Bobby Blevins. The Skeeters added to their lead in the ninth on a single from Dominic Ramos and a run-scoring error on the same play.
