Dunedin Blue Jays News Release

DUNEDIN, FL - Fans are invited to join the Dunedin Blue Jays on Thursday, May 1st, for Wing Night at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. It will be a great night of food, fun and baseball at the ballpark when the D-Jays host the Flying Tigers at 6:30 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to bring their appetites to the ballpark, where over a dozen restaurants will be showcasing their finest wings in a battle for the Best Wing trophy, the largest trophy ever awarded by the D-Jays. Come try wings from Dunedin Brewery, Dunedin Smokehouse, Clear Sky Draught Haus, Lee Roy Selmon's, Smokey Bones, WingHouse, Dodge's Store, Buffalo Wild Wings, Pinehurst Pub, Cricketer's Pub, Kelly's Restaurant, Beef 'o' Brady's, Sea Dog Brewing Co., Lucky Dill, Brick House Tavern and more.

All-you-can-eat wings will take place from 6-8 p.m., with plenty of flavor options for everyone. Thankfully, it's also a Thirsty Thursday, so fans will be able to wash down all those wings with $2 beer, wine and soda all night.

The D-Jays are offering a special ticket package for the event. A game ticket and AYCE wings are just $12. A single game ticket is still just $7. Fans with questions are welcome to call 727-733-9302 or visit DunedinBlueJays.com.

Also, May 1st marks the beginning of the next D-Jays monthly charity drive. For the month of May, fans can donate arts and crafts supplies for the Boys & Girls Club of the Suncoast at D-Jays home games. Specifically, colored pencils, crayons, paper and pencil sharpeners, as well as washable magic markers. Fans who contribute will receive a courtesy ticket voucher for a future home game or hat at the Jays shop.
