Calgary Stampeders News Release
Two clubs with plenty of recent success go head-to-head Friday as the Calgary Stampeders visit Percival Molson Stadium to face the Montreal Alouettes.
Kickoff is at 5:30 p.m. MDT and the game will be broadcast on News Talk 770 as well as TSN.
Calgary has the CFL's best record since 2008, posting a 60-31-1 mark since John Hufnagel took over as general manager and head coach. The Alouettes are ever so slightly behind the Stamps with a 60-32 record over that period.
Fans in Calgary can catch all the action at the Stamps' official site for Road Game Tweet-ups - Shark Club Deerfoot Meadows (7995 11th St. SE).
Both Montreal and Calgary are 1-1 in 2013 as each side posted a win in its season-opener before dropping its Week 2 contest.
It's the first interdivisional contest for the Stamps, who posted a 5-3 record against the East Division a year ago including a 1-1 mark against the Als. Montreal was 6-2 against the West in 2012.
The all-time season series between Calgary and Montreal is extremely close as the Red and White holds a slight 33-32-1 edge. The same teams will meet again in Calgary in Week 4 as the Stamps play host to the Als on Saturday, July 20 in a 5 p.m. kickoff. Tickets are available at Stampeders.com
