Calgary Stampeders News Release
The Stampeders wrap up their pre-season schedule on Thursday with a visit to Mosaic Stadium at Taylor Field and a meeting with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Kickoff is at 8 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on News Talk 770 radio.
Calgary suffered a 29-27 loss to the BC Lions in last week's pre-season opener while the Roughriders picked up a 31-24 decision over the Eskimos at Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium.
The Stamps and other CFL teams will have to set their season-opening roster this weekend as the season kicks with a four-game slate next week including the Stampeders' home-opener against the BC Lions on Friday, June 28 at 8 p.m.
The Stamps and Riders met three times during the 2012 regular season, with Calgary winning twice. The rivals met again in the West Division semifinal at McMahon Stadium, with the Stamps pulling out a dramatic 36-30 victory.
Calgary is 8-3 in pre-season action since John Hufnagel took over as head coach and general manger in 2008
