Montreal Alouettes News Release

Sherbrooke, June 16, 2013 - With CFL teams having to trim down their roster to 65 (not including non-counters) on Sunday, some Alouettes players had one last chance to make a lasting impression on coaches and football operations staff in order to earn the right to move forward in training camp during the team's practice on Sunday.

Rookie wideout Wallace Wright continued doing what he has done a regular basis since the beginning of camp, which is being a target with sure hands for Alouettes quarterbacks as he hauled in a few other catches during Sunday's practice.

Rookie defensive back Kendric Burney most likely saw his stock rise for the second straight day when he made a pick during practice, his third in the last two days.

Receivers Jamel Richardson and D.L. Moore made nice catches and sprinted to the end zone shifting defensive backs in the process. On both occasions, head coach Dan Hawkins sprinted to the end zone to congratulate the player that reached the end zone.
