Cardinals Announce Upcoming Promotions

In celebration of the life and career of the greatest Cardinal of them all, Stan Musial, the Springfield Cardinals will be wearing the newly-unveiled Stan Musial Tribute Jerseys during the game against the Tulsa Drillers this Sunday. The cream-colored jerseys are exact replicas of the St. Louis Cardinals uniforms from 1941, the year that Stan "The Man" played in Springfield before making his St. Louis debut later in the season on Sept. 17.

Every Springfield Cardinal will not only don the tribute jerseys, but the entire team will also wear #6, marking the first time in 50 years that a Cardinal has worn the revered number. During the game, the jerseys will be auctioned off to benefit the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri.

This Sunday's Father's Day Game also features the Rawlings Allen Craig Bat Giveaway, with 1,250 kids, 15-and-younger, with a paid admission receiving a replica bat of one of the most clutch hitters in baseball!

And remember, every Sunday at Hammons Field is a Hiland Dairy Ice Cream Sunday with a free ice cream party for kids before the game, courtesy of Hiland Dairy. All kids can then run the bases just like the Cardinals after the game. First Pitch is 6:09pm, gates open at 5:09pm.

The Cardinals wrap up the First Half with a Monday Night Match-Up Thick in the First Half Title race, the Cardinals will wrap up the half against the Tulsa Drillers on Monday night at Hammons Field. First Pitch is 7:09pm, gates open at 6:09pm.

Springfield is currently tied for 2nd place with the Tulsa Drillers, both just a half game behind the Arkansas Travelers for the top spot in the North Division. The Cardinals have seven games remaining in the half, while the Travs and Drillers will both play six more before the First Half ends this Monday. The team that claims the First Half Championship guarantees a playoff bid. Let's go Cards!

Principal Financial Group Puzzle Cube Giveaway and Great Southern Bank $1 Dogs on Tuesday! Give your brain a workout while you enjoy Cardinals Baseball with the Principal Financial Group Puzzle Cube Giveaway (2,500 fans) on Tuesday night.

Wednesday Night Showdown vs. Arkansas The Cardinals take on their North Division rivals, the Arkansas Travelers, on Wednesday at 7:09pm. Gates open at 6:09pm.

Vision Clinic and Oakley Sunglasses Oscar Taveras Texas League Player of the Year Bobblehead Giveaway highlights Sunday, June 23 The Cardinals wrap up the homestand with a huge day on Sunday, June 23, highlighted by the Vision Clinic and Oakley Sunglasses Oscar Taveras Texas League Player of the Year Bobblehead Giveaway, with 2,500 fans receiving a bobblehead of the Cardinals top prospect and one of the most promising young outfielders in all of baseball!

The Sunday, June 23 game will also feature the Camo Jersey Auction when fans may bid on the game-worn Camo Jerseys that the team will don during the June 22 and June 23 games. Proceeds will benefit the March of Dimes.
