Barons Playoff Tickets Now On-Sale

Birmingham, AL - The Birmingham Barons have clinched the 2013 Southern League North Division First Half title and will host games one and two of the North Division Series at Regions Field on Thursday, September 5th and Friday, September 6th. Tickets for game's one and two are now on-sale at the Joe Drake Ticket Office at Regions Field, over the phone at 205-988-3200 or print tickets from home by ordering from Barons.com. If the Barons win both the first and second half division titles, games four and five of the division series will also be played at Regions Field if necessary.

Thursday's game will be a traditional Thirsty Thursday at Regions Field with 16 oz. beverages for just $2 while Friday's game will feature a post-game fireworks spectacular.

The 2013 Playoffs at Regions Field will be sponsored by Schaeffer Eye Center. "Congratulations to the Birmingham Barons and the entire city for making the Southern League Playoffs! Schaeffer Eye Center is excited to be a part of the celebration and we look forward to cheering on the Barons all the way to the championship," stated Dr. Jack L. Schaeffer, President & CEO, Schaeffer Eye Center.

The Barons have made the playoffs in 10 of the last 14 seasons and last won the Southern League Championship in 2002. This year's playoff berth was clinched with a win against the Jacksonville Suns on Monday, June 10th at Regions Field.

The Southern League playoffs are made up of two best-of-five series. The two winners of the Divisional round play each other in the best-of-five Southern League Championship Series. A tentative playoff schedule is listed below.

SL North Divisional Series

Game 1 (Thursday, September 5) - TBD vs. Barons @ Regions Field - 7:05 PM (Thirsty Thursday)

Game 2 (Friday, September 6) - TBD vs. Barons @ Regions Field - 7:05 PM (Post-Game Fireworks)

Game 3 (Saturday, September 7) - Barons @ TBD
