Lake Elsinore, CA - The Lake Elsinore scored three times in the seventh to break a three-all tie, downing Rancho Cucamonga by a final of 6-3 on Tuesday afternoon at The Diamond in Lake Elsinore.

Quakes' reliever JonMichael Redding, had a tough day out of the pen, as he surrendered three runs in the seventh on five straight hits, as Lake Elsinore won for the tenth time in their last 13 games.

Tied 3-3, Redding (1-3) retired the first man he faced but then got roughed up, including RBI hits from Jeremy Rodriguez, Ronnie Richardson and Travis Jankowski, giving Lake Elsinore a 6-3 advantage.

Rancho starter Gustavo Gomez turned in his second straight quality start, but also took his second straight no-decision, as he allowed three runs, two earned, on five hits over five innings.

Noel Cuevas and O'Koyea Dickson did well at the plate, as both collected two hits each. Dickson knocked in Cuevas with each of his two hits, giving him a team-leading 45 RBIs on the year.

Rehabbing Dodger catcher A.J. Ellis went 0-for-4 as the designated hitter with a pair of strikeouts in his first game of his current rehab assignment. Ellis is expected to DH again on Wednesday in the series-finale.

Garrett Gould (2-3) will throw for the Quakes (30-35) on Wednesday night in Lake Elsinore, while the Storm will counter with Matt Jackson (3-2) at 6:05pm.
