
Rock Cats Make Another Player Move

New Britain, CT - The New Britain Rock Cats, the AA-affiliate of the American League's Minnesota Twins, announced a player transaction today involving a member of their bullpen.
LHP Aaron Thompson, a 26-year-old resident of Santa Fe, NM, has been promoted to Rochester in the AAA-International League. The 6'3"/200-pound southpaw departs New Britain after having appeared in 11 games for the 2013 Rock Cats. The former #1 Draft choice of Miami's in 2005 was superb for New Britain this season, posting a 0-1 record with a 0.61 ERA over 14.2 total innings of relief work.
He will join the Red Wings on the road in Lehigh Valley tonight.
