
Omaha Beef Defeat Bloomington Edge 51-33, Remain in Tie for First Place

Bloomington, IL - The Omaha Beef recorded their third consecutive with 51-33 victory over the Bloomington Edge. The Beef defense opened up the game in the second half by returning the first two Edge drives for defensive touchdowns. The Beef improved to 8-1 and remain in a first place tie with the Wichita Wild as both teams have only suffered a single defeat.
Omaha returns to the Ralston Arena Friday night as they host the Oklahoma City Defenders at 7:00pm. The Beef have three regular season games remaining, including two home contests and a road game at Lincoln on June 1st. The top four teams in the CPIFL will compete in the playoffs which will begin the weekend of June 15th.
