The RockHounds and Missions were rained out on Friday evening in San Antonio and will make up the game on Saturday, May 11th with a doubleheader starting at 5:05 PM. Texas League rules allow teams to play a pair of seven inning games whenever a doubleheader is scheduled. Listen to the RockHounds all season long on KCRS AM 550.
The RockHounds plan to send (Game 2)Josh Bowman (2-1, 5.02) and (Game 1)Murphy Smith(3-3, 1.91) to the mound for the starts against Keyvious Sampson and Matt Wisler (1st Double-A Start) for San Antonio.
The 'Hounds lost game one on Thursday 2-1 to kick off an eight game road trip. Tickets are available when the RockHounds return to Citibank Ballpark for a four game series with the Corpus Christi Hooks on Friday, May 17th.
Brett Anderson is scheduled to make a Re-Hab start for the RockHounds on Sunday. Anderson is returning from an ankle injury that put him on the 15 Day DL.
