RedHawks Acquire Ourso, Release Osborne

FARGO, ND - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have made a pair of roster moves, acquiring C Clint Ourso from the Sioux City Explorers for future considerations and releasing C Cory Osborne.
Ourso, from White Castle, LA, made his RedHawks debut during Thursday morning's exhibition game againt the St. Paul Saints at Midway Stadium. He singled in his only at bat.
Ourso played college baseball at the University of New Orleans in 2010 and at Southern University (LA) in 2011 and 2012. He also appeared in five games with the Roswell (NM) Invaders of the independent Pecos League last summer.
The RedHawks continue their exhibition schedule with the first of three home games tonight. The Saints will travel to Fargo to face the RedHawks at 6:00 p.m. at Newman Outdoor Field. The Winnipeg Goldeyes will then travel to Fargo to face the RedHawks on Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
