Lethbridge Hurricanes News Release
Lethbridge, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes announced changes to their Scouting Staff Tuesday.
General Manager Brad Robson, who had been the Hurricanes Director of Player Personnel has now turned that over to Todd Hassen while Blake Robson has been named the Hurricanes Head Scout and Gerry Klinkhammer the teams Travelling Scout.
Hassen, based out of Saskatoon, SK has been in the league for 26 years and his in 5th year with the Hurricanes. Robson, a former WHL player with Portland and Prince George and former draft pick of the Atlanta Thrashers joined the Hurricanes scouting staff in the 2008-2009 season. Based out of Lethbridge, Klinkhammer has been scouting for the Hurricanes since the 2002-2003 season.
Members of the Hurricanes scouting staff will gather in Calgary for the WHL Bantam Draft on Thursday, May 2nd. The Hurricanes hold the sixth overall pick in the first round of the Draft and eighth in the subsequent rounds. Fans can watch the first round live online via webcast at www.whl.ca. The Draft begins at 8:30am MST on May 2nd, 2013.
