
Golden State Warriors Recall Scott Machado from Santa Cruz

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The Golden State Warriors have recalled guard Scott Machado (muh-CHAH-doe) from the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League, the team announced today.
Machado, 22, was originally signed to a 10-day contract as a GATORADE Call-Up from the Santa Cruz Warriors on April 7 and was signed for the remainder of the season on April 17. The day following his initial signing (on April 8) he was assigned back to Santa Cruz and helped the club advance to the D-League Finals, where they fell to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers two games to zero in the best-of-three series. In six D-League Playoff games, the 6'2" guard averaged 9.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 20.3 minutes per contest.
