
Six Jam Players Earn All-NBA D-League Selections

BAKERSFIELD, April 28, 2013 - Six Bakersfield Jam players highlight the 2012-13 All-NBA D-League Selections, the league announced on Friday.
Brian Butch and Jerel McNeal, now a member of the Utah Jazz, have been named to the All-NBA D-League First Team. Damion James was selected to the All-NBA D-League Second Team and he was named to the All-NBA D-League Defensive First Team. Renaldo Major earned an All-NBA D-League Honorable Mention. Chris Cooper and James Nunnally were voted to the All-Rookie Third Team.
Butch (6-11, 240, Wisconsin) started in all of his 47 games he played this year, averaging 12.7 points and 10.9 rebounds (1^st in D-League) in 29.5 minutes per game. He had 23 double-doubles, tied for most in the league.
McNeal (6-3, 200, Marquette), a 2012-13 NBA D-League All-Star selection, averaged 18.1 points, 5.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 30.3 minutes per game. He played in 44 games (36 starts) for the Jam.
James (6-7, 225, Texas), who was also a 2012-13 NBA D-League All-Star selection, played in 44 games (43 starts) and averaged 15.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks in 30.8 minutes per game.
Major (6-6, 210, Fresno State) played in 41 games (36 starts) and averaged 13.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 29.0 minutes per game.
Cooper (6-10, 245, Old Dominion) played in 47 games and averaged 3.9 points and 5.8 rebounds.
Nunnally (6-7, 205, UC Santa Barbara) averaged 10.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in 49 games.
