
Pederson Wins SL Hitter of the Week

The Southern League has announced that MLBAM has named Chattanooga's Joc Pederson the Southern League Hitter of the Week for the week of April 15-21. The Palo Alto, CA native hit .407 with two HRs and five RBI's. He also tallied two doubles, two triples, four walks and seven runs scored. 2013 is Pederson's first season in AA and he currently leads the Southern League in hits, extra base hits, home runs, slugging percentage and total bases. Pederson enters 2013 ranked as the Dodger's #4 prospect by Baseball America.
